A
. There are magnetic fields all around us, and sometimes they can build up in your monitor causing a loss of colour accuracy. There is a Degauss option (normally under the menu section), the Degauss makes a buzzing noise and makes the screen look strange for a while. The Degauss removes the magnetic fields from the monitors. This magnetic field build up does not generally effect flat screen monitors. Many new Monitors do not have a degauss option as they do this automatically.
